| Koh Kood is the neighboring, slightly smaller sister island of Koh Chang. The two island are about 30Km apart if sailing in a direct line from tip to tip. Koh Chang is itself more developed than Koh Kood, so a trip over there for a bit of sightseeing or shopping is always interesting and worthwhile. |

| For those looking to get out and about to see some of the local culture and experience some real local hospitality, the island has two quaint fishing villages to visit and stroll around. Being a truly untouched and unspoilt land, you will also find some beautiful sights of nature, one of the main ones being that of Klong Chao waterfall, which is found quite close to X2 Residences. In fact it is part of our guest & owners experience programs to take a Kayak up Klong Chao River and along to see the waterfall with its fresh water pond. |
| For sun worshippers, Koh Kood cannot be beaten in terms of unspoilt and deserted beaches. And for divers, snorkelers and avid fishermen and sailors the crystal clear un chartered waters around Koh Kood are tailor made. It is worth noting that the chain of islands here is in fact classed as marine and national park land. |

Lying 82 kilometers off the coast of Trat Province on the Gulf of Thailand, Koh Kood is Thailand’s fourth largest island. | At present there is no government airport on the island though there are moves to create one in the north east corner. There is a small private airfield though, which can be used if booked well in advance. Access to the island is normally by way of express ferry or speedboat service which takes just under an hour from the two main pier options on the Trat mainland. To get here one can either fly from Bangkok to Trat airport or take road routes which take around 4 hours through some glorious natural Thailand scenery. |
