| KohChang, which means ‘Elephant Island’ is named after it’s elephant head shape. The island is part of the protected Mu Koh Chang National Marine Park. Over 70% of the island consists of virgin rainforest, so the region is not heavily populated but tourism and development along the coastal road have increased over the last few years. Koh Chang is one of Thailand’s most beautiful islands with long, white sand beaches, waterfalls, mangroves and an interior rainforest that has been largely undisturbed due to the mountainous terrain. Koh Chang is home to a wide range of wildlife, including an amazing selection of birds, snakes, deer, and monkeys. The island offers a variety of activities and is famous for some excellent diving and snorkeling spots. |

| Lonely Beach is famous for it’s great nightlife and parties. Many backpackers spend their time here and it’s definitely the most social place on the island. Cozy restaurants, cheap street food, beach BBQ’s, fire shows, tattoo shops, live music, techno DJ’s; Lonely Beach has got it all!..Please notice that at Oasis, at some nights, we can hear the music from the bars in a distant. |

| After a hard day on the tropical island of Koh Chang, you can sit down, relax and enjoy one of our fruit shakes, cold beers or fresh coffees. Our kitchen serves a variety of Thai and Western food. You can order breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks between 08:00 am and 09:30 pm. From the restaurant deck you can see the ocean and 3 small islands. Our sunsets are amazing! To keep Oasis quiet and peaceful at night, we close the restaurant / reception area around 11:00 pm. |

| We are a Dutch couple who have been living, working and traveling in South East Asia since May 2011. Before our Asian adventure, we travelled for two years in Africa and worked at several places in hospitality. We got inspired to start a guesthouse or resort for backpackers and independent travelers ourselves. |
| |
| In May 2012 we became the new owners of Oasis Koh Chang. Together with our lovely staff, our two dogs and two cats, we form the Oasis team and invite you to come stay with us! |
