| The Amadard Resort is located on the north side of the Srinagarind Dam freshwater lake in Baan Plai Dinsor, Mae Kraboong Region, Srisawas District within Kanchanaburi province in the area of the Srinagarind Dam National Park. Surrounded by a mountain forest that is the result of the Srinagarind Dam’s creation, which closed the Kwai Yai River in 1980. Flooding gave birth to small islands, inlets, and bays fostering a calm atmosphere and a visually transcending view. Access to the resort is via boat. Follow directions to the meeting point in village of Mhon Kratae according to the directions provided to you when you made your reservations. There you will find a convenient and safe parking lot to park your vehicle. Then, take the boat to the Amadard Resort; a 20 min ride in a big speed boat. |

The “Khwae Yai” River streams from a main tributary from the Western Forest in Thailand. It casually flows over the mountainous cascades. “Huai Kha Khaeng” is the main river of the protected National Park, declared a World Heritage Site. “Lum Nam Jone River”, a cool clear canal, runs thru the dense and impenetrable Klong Ngoo National Park where Khao Tanaosi (Tenasserim Hills) are located. All of these rivers, converge flowing into one of the largest freshwater lakes in Thailand spilling over the Srinagarind Dam. This is where “Amadard” was born, the land of peace amongst the morning mist of the great mountains and rivers.

| The Amadard offers you a private retreat within a natural environment, simply and harmoniously styled decor. Surrounded by mountains, woods, and rivers from the great freshwater lake, let go on your private veranda as you watch the sunrise with a cup of joe (coffee). During the day, with nice warm weather, you can splash around or kayak around the inlets. |
| Paddle on to visit the beautiful Mae Khamin waterfall or enjoy a natural stream massage. In the afternoon, hike up the mountain to admire the sunset. | Our rooms are casually decorated with a local Thai style. Some adornments are from Bali. Our building materials are sourced locally from real wood and make you feel as if you are resting in nature. Our spacious bamboo beds are stunning. Each apportioned room features an En suite for privacy and convenience. Each room floats on a raft surrounded by water; there is no land access. Open the windows to let the cool breeze in without the annoyance of mosquitoes. Our rooms are especially designed to repel mosquitoes. |

The Amadard has 14 rooms; able to accommodate 56 guests at 4 persons per room. Access to a floating boardwalk allows guests to stroll by without disturbing the privacy of other guests.Every room connects to the walking bridge in the back for privacy.

| Two twin rooms are connected by veranda on a floating raft; a very good choice for a family or group of friends to enjoy activities together. Stairs on each raft provide access to jump in and splash around or enjoy a quick dip in front of your own house. |

| Each room has two queen size (66in x 72in) beds accommodating 2 to 4 persons. A fan is available for your comfort. The EnSuite features a sink and shower area separated from the toilet. Toilets are capable to accommodate seniors. Waste water is managed in accordance with government standards. Amadard ensures the best hygiene is provided to our guests by utilizing effective cleaning techniques and quality products. |

Due to its location, Amadard is not powered by standard electricity. Power delivered to the rooms comes from our generator. The generator operates 7-9 AM, 12 PM-1:30 PM and 5:30 PM- 12AM (midnight). Pathway lighting and En suite bathroom lighting are powered from 12 AM to 6 AM.

| The hills opposite the Amadard resort is a must for the avid panoramic photography enthusiast at sunrise and sunset. Mountains surround the calm lake to mimic a painted landscape. On rainy days, it is just as beautiful with silky clouds everywhere. |

| The sky is dark and empty lit solely by a waning moon. When the stars are out, head over to the stargazing bridge in front of the resort, observe the countless of shining stars that illuminate the sky. Some nights the shooting stars glow and sparkle with red or green lights. If you love astronomy, you will never forget this experience. |

| Vineyard |
| Every year, from February to the end of March, the Baan Plai Dinsor Vineyard produces a delicious variety of grapes. All of the grapes in this vineyard are seedless, crunchy and sweet. These grapes are tasty! Travel to the vineyard by the big Amadard resort boat. It will take you only 5 minutes to pick, taste and take home these lovely grapes. |

The diamond of the Srinagarind Dam National Park. Any place you wish to visit is not too distant when you travel by boat; from Amadard, it is generally within one hour. Rent your own boat or join a group. The waterfall descends from towering mountains created from a series of cascades. Each level has its unique beauty, from the highest, 7th level, down to the 1st level, feeding the Srinagarind freshwater lake. The 4th level known as “Chatra Kaew” is admired for its stunning beauty. Be amazed by Nature’s ability to create such wonderful place. In the shade of this breathtaking spot, dip in for a refreshing swim or just let the cool mountain stream give you a relaxing massage. Staff are present for safety. The best time to visit Huai Mae Khamin waterfall is July to December.
