Khan Tok Traditional |
The Khan Tok is a round wooden pedestal tray, about one foot in height, that is placed on the floor for feasting and special occasions. It is a good example of old northern Thai or Lanna culture where delicious food is arranged in an attractive and appetizing way. At the Khan Tok dinner, men and women in local dress will welcome the guests and beautiful girls will dance to traditional music for the guests to admire while they enjoy their food. |
