| Mechai Viravaidya Foundation |
| Both the Restaurant and Resort were created to provide financial support to the Mechai Viravaidya Foundation and the Mechai Pattana School. Profits from the resort contribute to providing underprivileged children in rural Thailand with a world-class education at our bamboo school in Buriram province, located in northeastern Thailand. This social enterprise or "Business for Social Progress" model provides a fun and enjoyable way for our customers to support youth who are less fortunate. Additionally, the resort sponsors one village in northeastern Thailand, Baan Nong Takhem, through the Village Development Partnership. This program eradicates poverty in a rural village by focusing on community empowerment, income generation, environmental promotion, health, and education. |

| If you and your colleagues plan on bringing briefcases, our resort is an ideal location for corporate retreats and executive workshops. Our two conference rooms have a total capacity of 60 people. The Dr. Ella room has a capacity of approximately 40 people, while the Dr. Samak room has a capacity of 20 people. We provide a wireless internet connection for a nominal fee, facsimile and copying services, as well as other technological amenities. Signal for the wireless Internet connection can be found throughout the restaurant and conference room area. |
