Sichang island Resort, Thailand

Sichang Island is a small island and a part of Cholburi Province. Located on the east coast of the Gulf of Thailand. Distance between the Sichang Island and the seaport of Sriracha district is about 12 kilometers. The island has historic significance of the country because it was a place visited and was the residence of the King of Thailand in the Rattanakosin period. King Rama IV, Rama V and Rama VI came to the island for rested in the royal summer palace, named "Phra Chuthathut Palace". Sichang island is famous throughout Thailand and popular tourist destination there are plenty of beach activities are a favorite of travelers worldwide. Tourists come to Sichang Island they are relaxing with the pristine and quiet atmosphere of the popular beaches and natural or enjoy with lots of activities. There are also several many different types of bungalows, cottages, and villas for tourists from around the world.

เกาะสีชัง ตั้งอยู่ด้านทิศตะวันออกบริเวณอ่าวไทยตรงกันข้ามกับอำเภอศรีราชา จังหวัดชลบุรี ห่างจากจังหวัดชลบุรี ประมาณ 35 กิโลเมตร และห่างจากศรีราชาประมาณ 12 กิโลเมตร เกาะสีชังมีสภาพภูมิประเทศเป็นเกาะกลางทะเลประกอบด้วย 9 เกาะ พื้นที่ส่วนใหญ่จะเป็นภูเขา โขดหิน ประมาณ 80 เปอร์เซ็นต์ มีพื้นที่ราบทำการเพาะปลูกได้ประมาณ 500 ไร่ ไม่มีแม่น้ำลำธาร และบริเวณจุดสูงสุดของเกาะคือบริเวณยอดเขาซึ่งอยู่ทางตอนเหนือของเกาะสีชังมีความสูงประมาณ 192 เมตร จากระดับน้ำทะเล

เกาะสีชัง ซึ่งเป็นเกาะขนาดเล็กที่มีความสำคัญทางประวัติศาสตร์เกาะหนึ่งของประเทศไทย เนื่องจากเคยเป็นสถานที่เสด็จประพาสและเป็นที่ประทับของพระเจ้าแผ่นดินของกรุงรัตนโกสินทร์ถึง 3 พระองค์ คือ พระบาทสมเด็จพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัวรัชกาลที่ 4 , พระบาทสมเด็จพระจุลจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัวรัชกาลที่ 5 , พระบาทสมเด็จพระมงกุฎเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัวรัชกาลที่ 6 นอกจากนี้ยังเป็นสถานที่ประสูตรพระราชโอรส (เจ้าฟ้าจุฑาธุชฯ) สร้างพระราชวังจุฑาธุช ณ เกาะแห่งนี้อีกด้วย
